Canada asked the United States and Mexico to renew the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement for another 16 years, with Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc sending the recommendation to U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Mexican Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard before a scheduled July review of the pact.
