The U.S. House voted 226-195 Thursday to pass the Ukraine Support Act, a bill sponsored by Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., that would provide more than $1 billion in security and reconstruction aid for Ukraine and make up to $8 billion available through defense loans.
