NASA names four astronauts for Artemis III test flight (opens in new tab)
NASA named Randy Bresnik, Luca Parmitano, Frank Rubio and Andre Douglas to the crew for Artemis III, a roughly two-week 2027 mission that will operate in low Earth orbit rather than land on the moon. Bresnik will command the flight, Parmitano of the European Space Agency will serve as pilot, and Rubio and Douglas will serve as mission specialists.
