Valve sets 2027 window for some Steam Controller orders (opens in new tab)

Valve updated its Steam Controller reservation page after demand for the new gamepad exceeded the number of units the company says it can make before the end of 2026. Some buyers now have an estimated order window in 2027. Customers see one of three broad windows when logged into the product page: by September 2026, by December 2026 or sometime in 2027, with Valve saying it will provide more specific timing later for the 2027 group.
