China launched the Shenzhou-23 crewed spacecraft late Sunday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China, sending Zhu Yangzhu, Zhang Zhiyuan and Li Jiaying, also known as Lai Ka-ying, toward the Tiangong space station on a Long March 2-F rocket.
