Florida sues OpenAI, Altman over ChatGPT safety (opens in new tab)

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier filed a civil lawsuit June 1 in Florida state court against OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman, accusing the company of knowingly releasing and marketing ChatGPT while concealing safety risks to users, especially children.
