SoftBank Group said it plans to invest up to €75 billion to develop and operate artificial intelligence data centers in France, the company's largest AI infrastructure investment in Europe. The plan targets 5 gigawatts of total capacity, with an initial €45 billion phase to deliver 3.1 gigawatts in Hauts-de-France by 2031, including sites identified in Dunkirk, Bosquel and Bouchain.
