Apple launches Siri AI with Google Gemini support (opens in new tab)

Apple unveiled Siri AI at its Worldwide Developers Conference in Cupertino, California, presenting a rebuilt version of its voice assistant with a standalone app, more conversational responses, on-screen awareness, access to web information and the ability to search across a user's messages, emails and photos.
