Philippines quake kills at least 37 in Mindanao (opens in new tab)

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck off Mindanao in the southern Philippines at 7:37 a.m. local time Monday, killing at least 37 people, injuring hundreds and damaging buildings in and around General Santos and Sarangani province.
