Taliban says Pakistani airstrikes kill 13 Afghans (opens in new tab)
Afghanistan’s Taliban government accused Pakistan of launching airstrikes late Tuesday on Kunar, Khost and Paktika provinces, saying at least 13 people were killed and 14 wounded. Taliban chief spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the dead were 11 children, one woman and one elderly man; Pakistan did not immediately acknowledge the strikes.
