immediately resonant in a way that few horror films are, haunted by the specter of sexual awakening and transgression — the kneejerk reaction seems to be to compare this to It Follows but I found it a lot more similar in pace and tone to the drone dread, small town horror films of the 70s (Messiah of Evil, Deathdream etc) — best screen use of a lighter since Cure, sexiest bus chemistry since Keanu and Sandra in Speed
