Smoke smudged the view along a remote stretch of Arizona State Route 79 north of Tucson last spring. Bright orange flames burned hot and fast, devouring nearly everything they touched as they surged toward Falcon Valley Ranch.“That was scary with the wind blowing in our direction of (the ranch’s) headquarters and my house,” said Grant Wilson, who co-owns the family ranch with his sister, Jennifer Wilson.
