Oura launches 40% smaller Ring 5 wearable (opens in new tab)

Oura unveiled the Ring 5 on May 28, saying the smart ring has a smaller design and added health-monitoring software for blood pressure patterns, nighttime breathing and activity tracking. The company said the new model is 40% smaller than the Ring 4 and measures about 6.09mm wide and 2.28mm to 2.29mm thick, compared with 7.99mm wide and 2.88mm thick for the prior generation.
