Briefing Summary: BackBox 8.0 Integrates Meraki, Adds Vulnerability Workarounds (opens in new tab)

BackBox has released version 8.0 of its software platform for network operations, which includes config and OS backups, device lifecycle management, and vulnerability remediation. New features include visibility and lifecycle tracking for Meraki APs, switches, and firewalls in the BackBox dashboard; and CVE workarounds, which identify options besides patches and software updates to address the risks of known vulnerabilities.
