Cisco Announces the G300 ASIC: 102.4Tbps for AI Data Centers (opens in new tab)

Cisco has announced the G300, the newest entrant in its Silicon One family of custom network silicon. The G300 offers 102.4Tbps throughput and supports the P4 programming language. Cisco is targeting large enterprises, hyperscalers, neoclouds, and service providers; essentially, any organization that wants to build a dedicated network for AI workloads.
