Terms of the Deal for HPE and Juniper (opens in new tab)

HPE and Juniper have settled with the US Justice Department over HPE’s proposed $14 billion acquisition of Juniper. The merger can go through, but there are conditions, including that HPE and Juniper must license Juniper’s AI Ops for Mist source code to at least one third party. Here's an outline of those conditions, plus a few questions raised by this settlement.
