MS onedrive screwing me (opens in new tab)

So My laptop stopped working and the power just died on it. Now I have my HD out of my laptop and I can't get my MS Word open.The two files I care about are for my second book I am writing. One is the book and the other is the notes to make sure I keep things right."THe cloud file provider is not running"Can anyone help me get this crap taken care of so I can get my books back?TY all.
