Split Notes On Grid, not working on Windows 10 (opens in new tab)

just got reaper a few days ago for my first daw and trying to learn itim currently trying the split note on grid action and i just cant get it to workbeen trying for a few hours researching and also doing what ai says which has worked well for setting everything up until this pointWindows 10Any help appreciated!
