When using a USB-C monitor with Windows 10, is it possible to hide the Safely Remove Hardware icon? (opens in new tab)

When connecting an external monitor via USB-C on Windows 10, the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon always appears in the taskbar. It’s just video output, not a storage drive. The latest Windows 10 doesn’t allow hiding this icon individually. Is there any way to fix this?
