How to delete failed updates from history etc on Windows 11 (opens in new tab)

I'm trying to figure out how to clean up my Windows Update history on Windows 11, specifically to remove records of failed updates that keep showing up. I've already tried running the Windows Update Troubleshooter and clearing the SoftwareDistribution folder, but the failed update entries still remain in the update history list, and it's getting annoying to look at.
