Update on Windows 11 Forced Migration (opens in new tab)

I vaguely recall fears circulating online last summer that MS was going to kill Windows 10 so they could push people over to their newest system. I haven't heard much positive about Windows 11 in the meantime, however. Could somebody please update us antique-lovers as to our best options and timelines?
