Giving Windows Laptop to Someone Else (opens in new tab)

Might be a dumb question, but I am about to hand over one of my old Windows Insider Program laptops, to someone.......they need it to do an online course.....what's the best way to proceed ? completely wipe it, or just get them to set up their own account on it ?.......any thoughts welcomed..........
