Politely blocking AI bots (opens in new tab)

In March I seriously started looking into blocking AI from using my scribblings and code as training fodder. I can’t be responsible for slop ending up in important creations, and I’ve recently been told that my site uses quite some bandwidth for every request, so stopping needless visits will help there as well.
