Music trends and data errors: 2022 in music (opens in new tab)

In 2022, I had no true “obsessions” in my music listening, unlike last year. Instead of any standout artists, I flitted from artist to artist as they released new albums or other things prompted me to rediscover how much I enjoyed their music. This was a year for breadth, rather than depth, and also for discovering the limits of my music data collection mechanisms.
