The biggest companies can’t be just hardware or just software or just AI. They have to be extreme co-design companies (like Nvidia, but even more). That’s where the global minima are. I’m especially thinking about Apple and how with the recent transition a lot of people are saying it’s a hardware company. It should be (and hopefully will be) extreme co-design.
