Seattle is preparing for heightened security and possible protests ahead of Friday’s World Cup match between Iran and Egypt, with U.S. and FIFA officials allowing both teams to arrive in the city earlier than originally planned. The Iranian team was initially not expected to arrive until Thursday, but the U.S. plans to allow the team to come to Seattle a day earlier, according to the Associated Press.
