UWM scientist wins early career award for bone cancer research (opens in new tab)

Priya Premnath, assistant professor of biomedical engineering, will use seed funding from the Shaw Early Career Research Award to explore how stem cells can be directed to heal bone after surgery without triggering new cancer growth.
