SIMs on expired identity cards likely to be blocked: PTA (opens in new tab)

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a public awareness campaign regarding mobile SIMs registered on invalid, cancelled or expired identity cards and directed users to update their documents in a timely manner.
