Mitchell, a 2023 master’s alum in Human Development and current doctoral student, has been awarded the Michael and Jinny Goldstein Endowed Board Scholarship for Dissertation Research Advancing Social Justice. Her work focuses on African American international migration and its impact on mental and physical wellbeing.
