As a veteran in youth sports, soccer-league co-founder, father, and scholar-practitioner, Foran draws on his many roles to advocate for the world of youth sports. He shares, “As scholar-practitioners, my Organization and Management Development faculty helped me become more adept at using academic research to both direct and drive real-world outcomes. Their approach was most definitely not ‘study for study’s sake’, but rather ‘study in order to make a real difference.’”
