Rays Select Jon Heasley (opens in new tab)

The Rays announced that they have selected the contract of right-hander Jon Heasley. Fellow righty Trevor Martin has been optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding active roster move. To open a 40-man spot, infielder Gavin Lux has been transferred to the 60-day injured list. More to come.
