Anchoring order in tellurium nanowire thin films (opens in new tab)

An alkyl imidazoline anchor-rope layer confined in sapphire nanogrooves is demonstrated to create a directional adsorption landscape that locks tellurium nanowire growth to a single in-plane axis at wafer scale.
