NSA mourns the loss of former Deputy Director Barbara McNamara (opens in new tab)

<a href="https://www.nsa.gov/History/Cryptologic-History/Historical-Figures/Historical-Figures-View/Article/2446996/barbara-a-mcnamara/">Barbara McNamara</a>, who served as NSA deputy director from 1997 to 2000 as part of a long and distinguished career at the Agency, passed away Saturday at age 83.
