At the first U.S. home World Cup match against Paraguay in Los Angeles on Friday, the colors and the chants were loud with both nations’ affinities for red and white stripes on display. There was also a red, white and blue Liberty flame hat, some sombreros, and at least one pair of fans dressed in Stars and Stripes overalls.
