NY weather update: Winter weather advisory in place for part of New York for Friday and Saturday (opens in new tab)

On Thursday at 12:40 p.m. an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Friday 4 p.m. until Saturday 1 p.m. for Herkimer, Fulton, Montgomery, Schoharie, Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany, Rensselaer and Columbia counties.
