NY weather update: Winter storm warning in place for part of New York until Saturday afternoon (opens in new tab)

At 2:33 a.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service released an updated winter storm warning valid from 4 p.m. until Saturday 1 p.m. for Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn and Queens as well as Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Westchester, Suffolk and Nassau counties.
