NY weather update: Winter weather advisory in place for part of New York until Saturday morning (opens in new tab)

The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 9:40 a.m. on Friday valid from 1 p.m. until Saturday 7 a.m. for Yates, Seneca, Schuyler, Tompkins and Tioga counties.
