Fallen Montreal officer identified, amid warning of possible anti-police manifesto (opens in new tab)

MONTREAL — The police officer who was killed in a shooting in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges district has been identified as Mohamed Lamine Benredouane. Montreal police say the 34-year-old had been with the force since 2021.
