Here's some pointers: - Was the kind of packaging used at the time? Puerh could be pressed or loose in some kind of baskets, other kind of teas could be in thin metal containers or paper jars\. Heavy porcelain does not make sense economically production-wise nor transport-wise\. Beware of stuff wrapped in leather too\. - Is the ceramics from the period?
