<p>The obituary of <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/mar/02/ken-weetch-obituary">Ken Weetch</a> details his contribution to both education and politics, as Labour MP for Ipswich.</p><p>In the early 1960s he was my history teacher at Mayfield boys school in Ilford, then in Essex.
