My partner, Andrie Reid, who has died aged 73, appeared on British TV in the 1980s as a dancer and actor, as well as on stage in dance shows, operas and plays.Her main TV roles were in The Kenny Everett Television Show and as a presenter, singer and dancer in a Thames TV children’s series called Words, Words, Words (1985). On Everett’s show she appeared in 19 episodes, mainly in short sketches – including in the role of Ebony, the daughter of a family called the Drains. Continue reading...
