Google's "$3 solution for your outdated PC that can't run Windows 11" has sold out in less than a month (opens in new tab)

Google created a pilot program to sell $3 ChromeOS Flex USB sticks last month, and it's clearly been a success. Why can't Microsoft offer something similar for old hardware?
