India's entire 2,843-kilometer Dedicated Freight Corridor \(DFC\) network is now fully operational\. The milestone was achieved with the completion of the 1,506-km Western Dedicated Freight Corridor \(WDFC\), following a successful trial run connecting the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Terminal \(JNPT\) to Vaitarna in Maharashtra\.
