The Umbra is a display-free scale with seamless connectivity and industrial weighing technology. It communicates measurement information in real-time with other Acaia products through our Magic Relay function and shares the display. Connect with the Pearl to extend your brewing abilities. New firmware and connectivity are coming soon for the Pearl S series, the Lunar series, the original Pearl, and more. The scale can also connect with your mobile device through the Brewmaster app to show real-time feedback and provide advanced controls.

Relay extraction readings in real-time and create a synergetic workflow in your home espresso corner or busy cafe bar. When an Umbra scale and display Acaia scale are paired with the Magic Relay connection, you can toggle between weight readings instinctively. Switch between the two scales seamlessly by placing and removing weight from each scale.
Connectivity
The Umbra can connect with your phone or your existing Acaia products. Through Acaia applications, receive live readings from your espresso or pour-over brewing straight to your mobile device. Create a one-display, two-scale workflow for your current espresso machine setup.
Longer Battery Life
The Umbra benefits from a display-free workflow and elevated energy efficiency architecture. This means the battery life lasts much longer between charges.
