We have just released a new version of Corpus et Spiritus, including a whole lot of graphical changes. There are animations in the game now, and a better looking HUD, and sweet FX, and many other small improvements. The core gameplay hasn’t changed much, but the game looks and feel a lot better!
As with any new version, we are hungry for your feedback! Please do tell us what you think of Corpus et Spiritus in any way that you favor:
- by filling the survey at the end of each game
- by pressing F8 anywhere in the game

2025-11-10 - HUD and Animations update
Gameplay
- Start each game with 5 experience and intelligence, instead of 4, to make the game easier.
- Deals offered by the Homunculus are now in a predefined order, instead of being shuffled.
- The silver slot of the cards rarity components now increases chances of getting legendary cards instead of rare ones.
Quality of life
- Integrated new frames for the cards.
- Animations can now be accelerated in the settings menu.
- Added animations for the cards components of the workshop.
- Added new animations to workshop components when entering the Workshop view, to attract the attention of players to the elements that can be interacted with. Added animations on hover for some of them.
- Improved the FX when gaining resources.
- Replaced the main action button with a proper HUD element, with animations.
- The HUD is now hidden when the workshop is activating.
- Some HUD elements are hidden when entering the workshop view.
- Added an animation to the text of the Homunculus bubble.
Content
- Some cards have changed, some talismans have changed. 😇
