When did you join AudienceProject, and what motivated you to start working at AudienceProject?
Martin: I joined at the start of 2021, right after the pandemic. I remember this vividly because I needed a new start and something different from that strange COVID reality. I have always been working in advertising or SaaS companies, and I wanted to join a marketing tech company that I was interested in because of its product. That’s when I came across this wonderful opportunity at AudienceProject.
Markiyan: I joined in November 2023. What attracted me to the company was its size and number of people – an actual scale-up environment where you can make an impact – and the challenges we solve with measurement for advertisers, agencies, and publishers. AudienceProject presented itself as an opportunity to join an upcoming measurement company with a great culture and a powerful platform to solve real industry problems.
What does a day in the life of a Sales Director look like?
Markiyan: We are connecting with clients in all verticals and across all media sectors – from advertisers to agencies to publishers to tech vendors – which is interesting to me. We essentially explore their business challenges and then introduce our technology to help them, aiming to build a long-term partnership.
Martin: Exactly! Since we work with different businesses internationally, we craft proposals with different solutions per market, which makes everything more complex. The important thing is to ensure that the customer has the right capabilities in every marketplace to create that single source of truth across their business.
How would you describe the culture at AudienceProject?
Martin: The culture now is very different from when I joined in 2021. Only three people were in the London office when I started, so our focus was strictly on building the business. Now, we have an office culture where we work hard to achieve our business goals and create space for social activities like the monthly “Friday Chill”. In my experience, the culture is very driven, open, and honest. There is an understanding that we are working with humans, so you are more than just an employee. The thing about London, which is excellent, is that there are people from absolutely everywhere, which allows everyone to bring their culture and foster diversity in the office.
**Markiyan: **There is clearly a Scandinavian or Nordic business culture, with a people-centred approach and strong teamwork across the organisation. AudienceProject truly places employees at the organisation’s heart, something that I felt immediately. There is a lot of teamwork involved, and it happens seamlessly across the organisation. Even as we have grown so quickly, we speak with other teams weekly and get involved with different people across the organisation.

What do you like the most about working at AudienceProject?
Martin: I enjoy the pace of our organisation. We are at the forefront of cross-media measurement, and you can see that other businesses are trying to imitate or catch up with us and our technology. We are a market leader, and that is incredibly exciting.
Markiyan: Agreed! We are in an exciting space where our business is getting a lot of attention within the market. That gives us the opportunity to work with fantastic brands and understand their businesses on all levels. We get very close to all types of companies, which is very fun.

**Martin: **AudienceProject is a company where people are ambitious and have a good work-life balance. It is somewhere you can learn a lot from good colleagues and work on diverse, interesting projects across the organisation. Finding a workplace where you like working with everybody is hard, but that is exactly the case at AudienceProject.
**Markiyan: **Yes, in addition to the people and culture at AudienceProject, I would like to highlight our products. Our technology is more advanced than ever, and we are at a very exciting stage in our journey right now!
