Learning Spanish with ChatGPT
I started learning Spanish in March with Duolingo and have been pretty consistent, usually spending at least 30 minutes a day on it. Last week I actually completed all the available Spanish lessons in the app. To practice more, I set up a few coffee chats with some of my Spanish-speaking colleagues. My goal is to be able to have conversations with people when I’m traveling. I’ve noticed I can already understand quite a lot when someone speaks slowly, but answering back is still tough for me.

I hadn’t tried the voice conversation feature before, but it actually works really well. What I like most is that I can practice as much as I want, without feeling like I’m bothering anyone when I pause, stutter, or fill the silence with “emmm”. On top of that, I get immediate feedback on my grammar, word choices, and ways to sound more natural.
