Personally I’m a little skeptical of how this first post seems to present all of this as being symptomatic of capitalism. I’m hoping that future posts will connect the dots a little more explicitly for me — I’m prepared to be convinced. Personally I’m a little skeptical of how this first post seems to present all of this as being symptomatic of capitalism. But it does seem to me that wanting to read all the books and do all the things (a problem from which I also suffer) could just be the result of being a curious person in the world, rather than being the result of capitalism teaching us that we’re never good enough.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to the rest of the posts in this series.
