Autumnal week notes
Someone I grew up with happened to go to the same college as me, and now we happen to live in the same relatively small city. We’ve been totally casual but pretty consistent mainstays of each others’ lives for going on 20 years at this point. She’s also one of the few people that I run into who knows that I can’t actually see well enough to reliably tell people apart from any further away than like 4 or 5 feet, and I always feel really appreciative whenever she waves that she also always says “hi” and who she is, which I know a lot of people feel like is awkward and weird, but it’s kinda lovely for me to actually know who is waving at me without having to ask or fake it out of an interaction.

Haven’t been reading a ton lately. I have an academic book about Assassins Creed, a game series I’ve never even touched, that I wanna checkout, though. My partner also gave me an old copy of a Star Wars legends book. I was kind of obsessed with Star Wars books as a kid, and I’m enjoying reading it. It’s total and complete garbage of the purest form. 10/10
I think I’ve finally gotten the hang of Cassette Beasts and I’m enjoying that in lieu of playing the newest Pokemon game.
With Halloween come and gone, it feels especially autumnal, nearly wintery.
