A declaration on the transition of Russia-Kazakhstan relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance has been signed, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
The document was signed at the conclusion of talks between Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held at the Kremlin.
Putin stated that the share of national currencies in mutual trade between the two countries has exceeded 90%.
He also noted that the widespread and free use of the Russian language in Kazakhstan is a source of satisfaction for Russia.
Tokayev highlighted effective cooperation with Rosatom, including the nuclear power plant construction project.
